Our Phoenix, Arizona data center where we are generally free from all natural disasters such asearthquakes, tornado's, hurricanes etc... Our data center has state of the art Juniper routers and HP Gigabit switches and is 100% fiber optic. We have 60+ tons of automatic redundant Liebert HVAC (climate control) for maximum server reliability. We have redundant power backup including PowerWare UPS and a half MegaWatt Detroit Diesel powered generator system with an automatic transfer panel. Should utility power ever fail, the UPS systems kick in and power the building while the generator automatically starts and then switches from utility to generator power in less than 1 minute. When utility power is restored, the ATS switches back to utility power. The UPS systems also condition and voltage regulate incoming power to ensure consistent and clean power to all servers, routers and switches. We support all sizes and shapes of servers from 1U rackmount to full tower cases. All servers have a dedicated switch port for the best in speed and security.
Redundant Sonet ring transport fiber from multiple telco's. These rings have a minimum capability for at least 6 OC-192s each. Fiber optic lines are much more reliable then copper as they are not subject to electrical or environmental interference. In addition, fiber optical cabling has a much greater capacity for bandwidth then copper. The SONET ring technology carries the fiber optical cable in multiple rings giving any point on the ring access to any other point on the ring even if the cable is cut. It is important to note that many data centers and hosting companies share bandwidth and lines, whether fiber optic or copper.

Our Clinton, NJ data center runs on our own dark fiber ring connecting our two redundant pops in 111th NYC and 165 Halsey (Equinix) NJ. Each fiber leg is capable of handling our entire networks traffic in case of a failure. Each leg can upgraded to provide transport capacities up to 320Gbps totaling 640Gbps of available transport capacity. Our core consists of Dual Cisco 6509 SUP720 Routers, fully meshed to multiple aggregation switches for maximum uptime. Our multi-homed network is fueled by premium tier 1 carriers Above.net, NLayer (GlobalCrossing), coming soon are Level3 and NYIIX peering.

The Network Operations Center uses industry-standard SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and provides round-the-clock monitoring of all hardware, including routers, switches, UPS systems, and servers. The Network Operations Center also monitors power, environmental factors (such as temperature and humidity), generator status, and network connectivity. All critical services/ports are monitored, including FTP, HTTP, SMTP, HTTPS, SSH, TELNET, and POP3. We provide network monitoring of the Local Area Network, Internet connectivity (all routers, switches, and wiring), and the Internet backbone via MRTG. Our close and constant communication with our upstream backbone providers ensures that our customers have constant access to high-performance Internet connections. Failure on any monitoring service results in audible alarms, LAN messages, and alerting our staff paging system. NOC offers remote cold boot hardware for dedicated server and co-location clients, with private, password protected, web based access.
